Quantitative sandwich ELISA for measuring Rabbit Tissue factor (TF) in samples from cell culture supernatants, serum, whole blood, plasma and other biological fluids.

Tissue factor, also called platelet tissue factor, factor III, thromboplastin, or CD142 is a protein encoded by the F3 gene present in subendothelial tissue and leukocytes necessary for the initiation of thrombin formation from the zymogen prothrombin. Thromboplastin defines the cascade that leads to the activation of factor X - the tissue factor pathway. In doing so it has replaced the previously named extrinsic pathway in order to eliminate ambiguity.

All of the components are shipped on ice packs/blue ice. Upon receiving the kit keep it at +4 degrees Celsius for up to 1 year (refer to the label on the box for the exact expiration date).
